Short description of error
[When I'm in sculpting mode and I press "ALT" while using a brush, the program closes unexpectedly.]
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
[I'm making clothes for this model using sculpt mode. When I enter the jacket sculpt mode, I select the grab brush and then press "alt" while clicking, and the program suddenly closes.]
[Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible)]
Report is clear
LLM Reasoning
Got it, let's see. The bug report has a clear title: "The program closes in sculp mode when I press ALT key". Then the body includes a short description of the error, which is "When I'm in sculpting mode and I press 'ALT' while using a brush, the program closes unexpectedly." Also, there are exact steps to reproduce: entering sculpt mode, selecting grab brush, pressing alt while clicking. So the steps are present and clear. The system info is there but we ignore that. The description of the error is clear. So yes, it clearly describes the issue.

Report is specific
LLM Reasoning
Got it, let's analyze this bug report. The title says "The program closes in sculp mode when I press ALT key". The body describes a specific scenario: using sculpting mode, grab brush, pressing ALT while clicking causes the program to close. The steps are exact—enter jacket sculpt mode, select grab brush, press ALT and click. So this is about a specific issue because it's tied to a particular action (pressing ALT in sculpt mode with grab brush) rather than a vague "crashing while rendering" or something general. So the answer should be 'Specific'.

Sculpt Mode Grab Tool Alt Key Crash

System Information
Operating system: Windows 11/ Windows 10

Blender Version

Short description of error
Sculpt Mode Grab Tool Alt Key Crash
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Enter Sculpt Mode, select Grab tool and try it with alt - blender closes without any message.
LLM Reasoning
Got it, let's analyze these two bug reports. First, look at the key parts: description and steps to reproduce.
Bug report 1: In sculpt mode, pressing ALT while using a brush (specifically grab brush) causes the program to close. Steps: enter sculpt mode, select grab brush, press ALT while clicking—program closes.
Bug report 2: Sculpt Mode Grab Tool Alt Key Crash. Steps: Enter Sculpt Mode, select Grab tool, try with alt—blender closes without message.
Both are about sculpt mode, grab tool, and pressing ALT causing a crash (program closing). The core issue is the same: using grab brush in sculpt mode with ALT key leads to program closure. So they're duplicates.

Blender 5.1 - Random crash after attempting to mask with the ALT key in sculpt mode.

Short description of error
I encounter a crash randomly, but most often than not, when I am in sculpt mode and try to draw a mask. With ALT key, mainly but also had some crashes when I was selecting the dedicated brush.
Tried Vulkan or OpenGl, issue is the same.
I mainly sculpt on multires objects. Joined a txt crash file from Blender.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
When in sculpt mode, try to draw a mask with the ALT key, or using the standard mask brush.
LLM Reasoning
Got it, let's analyze these two bug reports. First, look at the descriptions and steps to reproduce.
Bug report 1: The issue is that when in sculpt mode, pressing ALT while using a brush (specifically grab brush) causes the program to close. Steps: enter sculpt mode, select grab brush, press ALT while clicking, crash.
Bug report 2: Crash happens randomly but often when in sculpt mode trying to draw a mask with ALT key, or using standard mask brush. Steps: in sculpt mode, try to draw mask with ALT or use mask brush.
Both are about Blender 5.1 crashing in sculpt mode when using the ALT key (either with grab brush or mask brush). The core issue is the same—ALT key causing crash in sculpt mode. Even though one mentions grab brush and the other mask brush, both involve ALT in sculpt mode leading to a crash. So they are duplicates.

Short description of error
Choosing any tool from the toolbar on the left in sculpt mode crashes blender
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Go to sculpt mode and choose any tool (not brushes) like box mask, mesh filter, transform tools etc, and it will crash
LLM Reasoning
Got it, let's analyze these two bug reports. First, look at the description and steps.
Bug report 1: The issue is when in sculpt mode, pressing ALT while using a brush (like grab) causes the program to close. Steps involve entering sculpt mode, selecting a brush, pressing ALT during use.
Bug report 2: The issue is choosing any tool from the toolbar in sculpt mode (not brushes, like box mask, mesh filter, transform tools) crashes Blender. Steps are going to sculpt mode and picking any non-brush tool.
The key differences: Report 1 is about pressing ALT with a brush, Report 2 is about selecting any non-brush tool. The triggers are different—ALT vs. choosing a specific type of tool. So they're not the same issue. Therefore, the answer is No.

Short description of error
Blender is crashing randomly while im modeling, animating and sculpting.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Modeling and animation crash is random. But while im trying to sculpt if i hold Ctrl and left click to mask sculpt the blender is crashing.
Im attaching the files for reference.
LLM Reasoning
Got it, let's analyze these two bug reports. First, look at the descriptions and steps.
Bug report 1: The issue is when in sculpt mode, pressing ALT while using a brush (like grab) causes the program to close. Steps are specific: enter sculpt mode, select grab brush, press ALT + click, crash.
Bug report 2: Blender crashes randomly during modeling/animating/sculpting. For sculpting, holding Ctrl and left-click to mask causes crash. So the steps here are different (Ctrl+click vs ALT+click), and the description is more general ("randomly" vs specific ALT key).
The core issue in report 1 is a specific action (ALT key) in sculpt mode causing crash. Report 2 has a different trigger (Ctrl+click for masking) and mentions random crashes. So they are not the same issue. Therefore, the answer is No.

Short description of error
Blender instantly crashes / closes when left clicking on an empty image in an Image Editor.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
LLM Reasoning
Got it, let's analyze these two bug reports. First, look at the descriptions and steps to reproduce.
Bug report 1 is about Blender closing when pressing ALT in sculpt mode with a brush. The steps involve using sculpt mode, grab brush, press ALT while clicking.
Bug report 2 is about crashing when left-clicking on an empty image in Paint mode. Steps are opening Image Editor, switching to Paint mode, clicking empty image.
The issues are different: one is related to sculpt mode and ALT key, the other is painting on an empty image. So they're not the same issue. Therefore, the answer is No.
